El Dorado Seaside Suites

El Dorado Seaside Suites is the newest addition to Karisma's portfolio of luxurious gourmet-inclusive resorts - an upscale boutique resort only for adults, and is located about 1 hour south of Cancun Airport, in the Riviera Maya.

The cuisine is superb. Following the trend from its sister resort, El Dorado Royale, they have implemented their signature Gourmet Inclusive concept here as well. There is a variety of options, none of which includes buffet lines as all restaurants serve á la carte only. They do include authentic Mexican, Asian, Italian, Latin Fusion as well as International cuisine with a daily changing menu. The bars feature the famous swings, transforming the overall experience of the resort. A new lounge beckons with cool music and even cooler drinks. Dining Dress code required: Semi formal, dress pants, sleeved shirt, dress shoes or sandals (no tennis shoes or beach sandals).

All 280 rooms are suites, with lovely décor and romantic four poster beds and all are just a few steps from the beach. Each room offers air conditioning, a ceiling fan, marble or Mexican tile floors, TV, DVD player, mini-bar, coffee maker, hair drier, and iron/ironing board. Rooms are large, with a living room area with sofa, and each one has it's own terrace. The 24-hour room service is included, as are the beverages and many other activities, amenities, and services. Wireless internet is not available at seaside. Internet is only available in 2 computers located in our main lobby at extra charge of US$6 per hour.

There are 9 restaurants, lounges, and bars to choose from. La Carreta prepares authentic Mexican fare, from traditional Mexican favorites such as Tacos, Enchiladas and Steak Arrachera to more exotic dishes such as Huitlacoche and Nopales. Mia Casa is open for dinner a la carte from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm, serving contemporary Italian Cuisine, and you can choose between air conditioning or outdoor dining. And Klay Talay (Thai for 'seaside') blends a variety of Asian styles into a fine fusion of Oriental cuisine. Vida grill offers a truly creative assortment of Latin Fusion cuisine.
The hotel operates without restaurant reservations. They operate on a first come first serve basis. At times when the restaurant is at full capacity, guests will receive pagers to alert them about the availability of their table.

Although the overall ambience is one of relaxation, a variety of activities are available. Choose from non-motorized water sports including kayaks and snorkeling gear, a hard surface tennis court where rackets and balls provided free of charge, a fitness center, sauna and steam baths, live music and shows, and activities such as beach volleyball, Aquaerobics, Salsa lessons, and low-impact aerobics.
There are also a variety of spa services to choose from, including massage, facials, body scrubs, and beauty salon services such as manicures and hair styling. Spa treatments are available a la carte.
